Today has been a super busy one, so no time to enjoy a lunch date. Therefore, it was a quick take away stir fry on my lunch agenda.
A colleague had told me about a new Thai restaurant that had opened on Crown Street in Surry Hills, so I decided to check it out. I chose a standard dish that I like, and use to compare Thai restaurants, Chicken with Cashew Nuts.
It was definitely great value for money. A standard take away container with rice for $7.90 and it was pretty yummy! Even had some crunchy garlic chips as a garnish to add some texture. The sauce was really tasty so I would have liked a little more. The ingredients were fresh, the chicken wasn't too dry, so it surely ticked all the boxes for a quick takeaway lunch.
Also noteworthy, I noticed that they do banana springs rolls served with vanilla ice-cream! Worth a return visit even just to try those!
Wednesday: Cheap and cheerful.
